Getting started & pricing
Yes. The Free plan covers one device and one user with no trial period or expiry — GST/VAT invoicing, barcode scanning, and reorder alerts are all included at no cost. Pro adds unlimited devices, staff accounts, and warehouses.
No. When StashBill launches, the Free plan won't ask for a card — it's free forever for one device.
StashBill is designed so you can issue your first invoice within minutes of setup, because tax fields and invoice layout come preconfigured for your country.
Offline use & hardware
Yes. Every core feature — scanning, billing, and stock tracking — works with zero signal. Nothing is disabled offline, and changes sync automatically once you're back online.
Yes. Any phone or tablet camera reads standard 1D and 2D barcodes, so no dedicated scanner hardware is required. You can also add items manually if they don't have a barcode yet.

Compliance, data & support
StashBill has built-in tax presets for India (GST), the UAE (VAT), the UK (VAT), Australia (GST), and Canada (GST/HST) — it applies the right tax fields, HSN/SAC codes or registration numbers, and invoice layout for each. In the US, you add your combined state and local sales tax rate once and StashBill applies it. More countries are being added based on demand.
Yes. Data is encrypted at rest on your device, and Pro's cross-device sync is encrypted in transit and at rest — StashBill's own systems don't read your invoice contents.
Yes, at any time, in a portable format. Your inventory, invoices, and customer records aren't locked into StashBill.
Yes, on the Pro plan — track stock per location and transfer inventory between warehouses without losing count.
